SM Entertainment takes legal action against those who spread false information about ”RIIZE”: ”Fine punishment has been decided”

SM Entertainment has announced the status of its legal response regarding the boy group "RIIZE." In a statement released on the 15th, SM Entertainment said, "Our company
"We will file a lawsuit against those who have spread false information about RIIZE on certain online platforms," the statement said. "They are claiming to be acquaintances of the members and continually creating false information.
"Of those cases where illegal activities were confirmed, some of them were identified as guilty and sent to the prosecution last year, after which punishment, such as fines, was finalized."
SM Entertainment then stated, "Recently, we have been using members' personal information without permission to change or cancel airline tickets.
"There have been persistent acts of disruption to the schedule, and we are taking action against this," he said. "This constitutes obstruction of business and may be subject to claims for damages, so unfortunately,
"RIIZE" debuted in September 2023 and released songs such as "Get A Guitar," "Love 119," and "Fly
SM Entertainment said, "Through the active provision of information from fans and our constant monitoring, we have been able to promote DC Inside and Female Up both in Korea and overseas.
He wrote malicious posts targeting members on platforms such as Sexual Times, Nate Board, Instiz, Doc, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), and YouTube.
"We are simultaneously filing criminal charges and civil claims against the people involved," the company said. It continued, "Many people have suffered damage due to malicious posts and comments that contain false facts about our management staff.
"We have also gathered sufficient evidence and are in the process of filing a complaint, so we ask that you refrain from disclosing personal identities and continuing to maliciously attack and insult people."
Finally, SM Entertainment stated, "We will take disciplinary measures against the reckless illegal actions against not only RIIZE but all related parties.
"We will take firm action in accordance with our principles without any leniency," he said, emphasizing, "Please take special care to avoid being punished for the above-mentioned actions."
