李在明大統領の「金は悪魔だ」発言に…野党議員「これより偽善なことはない」=韓国
In response to President Lee Jae Myung's ”money is the devil” remarks, opposition lawmaker says ”nothing could be more hypocritical” (South Korea)
On the 14th, Na Kyung-won, a lawmaker from the South Korean opposition party People Power Party, said that President Lee Jae-myung had given the newly appointed civil servants
He criticized him for saying, "Money is the devil," saying, "There is no greater hypocrisy than this."
On the same day, Rep. Na criticized President Lee's remarks about "integrity" on Feibo.
Rep. Na said, "(President Lee)'s own trial was suspended or dismissed, and the investigation was carried out.
"Are these the words of a ruling party president who is shaking up the government, pushing legislation to dismantle the prosecution, and wielding brutal power to even tame the judiciary?" he said. "I wonder if the newly appointed public servants will be able to do this?"
"Are we learning from this?" he said. He then criticized the Lee administration's ministerial personnel hearings. "The Lee administration's ministerial personnel hearings began this week.
"However, the people nominated are not only immoral but also covered in various criminal allegations," he said. "Under a conservative government, it would be difficult to even consider promoting the nomination of people accused of immorality and crimes.
"However, under the current administration, they are trying to take on key positions in national politics, and the ruling party has publicly declared that it will force through personnel changes," he said. "The reason is that the standards of morality and law-abidingness of the president and prime minister themselves have already collapsed."
He also said of the Lee administration, "It goes beyond moral insensitivity to being morally bankrupt," and pointed out that "the administration should demonstrate its integrity through actions, not just words."
