Ahn HyoSeop: ”Lee Minho was a celebrity to me, but I'm thrilled to have worked with him on 'From the Point of View of an Omniscient Reader'”

Ahn HyoSeop spoke about his excitement at being cast alongside Lee MinHo. Ahn HyoSeop worked closely with Lee MinHo in the film "From the Point of View of an Omniscient Reader."
In the drama, Ahn Hyo-seop plays Kim Deok-ja, the only reader of a novel that has been serialized for over 10 years, and Lee Min-ho plays Yoo Jun-hyuk, the protagonist of the novel that has been serialized for over 10 years.
Furthermore, Ahn HyoSeop had previously debuted at Lee Minho's management office and gained experience, and finally landed a leading role in the same production as Lee Minho, which is quite meaningful.
During a recent interview at a cafe in Jongno-gu, Seoul, Ahn HyoSeop revealed that his real-life relationship with Lee Min-ho helped him get into character.
On this day, Ahn HyoSeop said, "Lee Minho hyung was a top star for so long that to me he was a celebrity," and "Yoo JunHyuk was like that to DeokJa."
"Being like that helped me act. It was easy for me," he said. "When Lee Hyun-seong and Jung Hee-won appeared, I felt like I was watching celebrities.
"It's strange to see someone you've met in the media in real life," he said, adding, "I didn't really think about it when I was filming, but once the poster came out,
"It was amazing," he said, "I liked your work even when I was in Canada, so I was overwhelmed with emotion." He also said, "It's been 10 years since I last met you, but you made me feel at ease.
Meanwhile, "From the Point of View of an Omniscient Reader," starring Ahn Hyo-Seop and Lee Min-Ho, is about a novel that has been serialized for over 10 years, but on the day it comes to an end, the world of the novel becomes reality.
This is a fantasy action film in which Kim Deuk-ja, the only reader of the novel, survives in a post-apocalyptic world together with Yoo Jun-hyuk, the protagonist of the novel, and his colleagues.
It is scheduled to be released in Korea on the 23rd.
