Hwacheon County, Gangwon Province, South Korea, is looking for tenants for a rental house where newlyweds can live for 36,000 won (about 3,840 yen) a month due to an influx of young people.
On the 15th, Hwacheon County announced that it was looking for new residents (newlywed couples) for rental housing to be built in Hanam-myeon. Ten rental homes are being recruited this time, and will be completed by the end of the year.
The tenants will receive a 90% reduction in the rental deposit of 40.95 million won (approximately 4,365,300 yen) and the monthly rent of 360,000 won (approximately 38,400 yen) from Hwacheon County.
In that case, residents will only have to pay a deposit of 4,095,000 won (approximately US$436,500) and a monthly rent of 36,000 won (approximately US$38.40).
The initial rental period is five years, which is extended by five years for each child you have, for a maximum of 30 years.
Tenants must be homeless couples in which either spouse lives in Hwacheon County or both spouses plan to live in Hwacheon County, and both spouses must be under 49 years old and have been married for less than seven years.
