The iF Design Award is a world-renowned international design award ceremony that has been held since 1955. It is considered one of the world's three major design awards, along with the iF Design Award in Germany and the IDEA Award in the United States.
Every year, design experts from around the world participate as judges and are judged on the creativity and completeness of designs in three categories: product design, design concept, and brand and communication design.
The winners will be selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of functionality. "Monochrome" aims to deliver "clouds made of memories" (monochrome) filled with memories of BTS to fans around the world.
The event was planned with the concept of "the first ever event in Seoul in April last year, followed by Tokyo, Jakarta, Indonesia, Bangkok, Thailand, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Manila, Philippines, and Hong Kong.
The pop-up was held in nine cities, including Hong Kong. It has received such a passionate response that over 270,000 people have visited in the past year. "Monochrome" is more than just an exhibition; it is a place where fans can take the lead.

The 2025 Red Dot Design Award ceremony will be held in Germany on November 7th.
