Actor Shim Hyung-tak introduced his son to the world of “first otaku activities.”

On the 1st, Shim Hyung-tak posted on his Instagram, “I heard that Doraemon was collaborating, so I rushed over with Haru.”

He continued, “There are five types of merchandise. They're easy to use at home or in the office, and they're super cute.” He expressed his utmost happiness, saying, “Haru, let's start our first otaku activity together. We have to keep doing collaborations like this.”

In the photos shared, Sim Hyung-tak is seen holding his son close while surrounded by various Doraemon merchandise. Shim Hyung-tak, who is well-known as a “Doraemon otaku,” has his fan heart fully on display.

Even Shim Hyung-tak's son, Haru, is wearing a blue outfit reminiscent of Doraemon and gazing at Shim Hyung-tak. With his lush hair and distinct facial features, Haru has a doll-like appearance that exudes cuteness.

Meanwhile, Shim Hyung-tak and Japanese national Saya got married in August 2023. Despite being 18 years apart in age, Shim Hyung-tak, born in 1978, and Saya have shared their love story transcending nationality and age, sparking buzz, and welcomed their son Haru in January.
