Two home searches on suspicion of ”copyright violation”... G-DRAGON and Yang HYUN-SUK ”did not reproduce without permission”

According to the police, Seoul Mapo Police Station received a complaint from composer A in November last year that G-DRAGON and Yang HYUNSUK had copied his songs without permission.
Mr. A claims that they copied his songs without his permission, changed the titles of the songs at will, and produced an album in April 2009.
The police are investigating some of the people involved in the case and have conducted searches of YG headquarters and the Korea Music Copyright Association.
A YG representative stated on the 13th (today), "The artist had two songs with the same title on the setlist during his solo concert in 2009, which caused the incident."
"It is not an unauthorized reproduction of Bam," he said.
