South Korean CubeSat exports video to Europe for the first time with GPU

TelePIX, a space AI (artificial intelligence) solutions company, has released a statement about the footage captured by its AI-equipped cubesat, BlueBON.
The company has signed an exclusive sales contract for Europe with a Polish satellite company. The contract amount is $300,000 (approximately 44.18 million yen). Cho Sung-ik, CEO of the company, said, "In space, temperature changes occur, so

Bluebon is equipped with a graphics processing unit (GPU)-equipped AI processor called "TetraPLEX," and has a processing power of 1TOPS (10 times per second).
It will achieve a computing power of 10 trillion times. It will apply its proprietary satellite image analysis AI agent solution "SatCHAT" technology to provide an analysis service using generative AI.
Telepix's AI solution has been praised for being lighter than the 16-unit CubeSat (25 kg) sold by overseas companies and for its superior image quality.
Around 2027, Telepix plans to wrap up a small satellite that will be able to expand its observation range by more than double the current size, and export the images it produces primarily to the European market.
