A 40-something actor who was reported to the police on suspicion of assaulting his wife and underwent police investigation has been identified as Lee Jihun.

On the 14th, Lee Jihun's agency, Waiwon Entertainment, confirmed to the media outlet Edaily that “the ‘40-something actor A’ reported today is our agency's actor Lee Jihun.”

They added, “During a marital argument, the police were called by the spouse, but after reviewing the statements and evidence at the scene, it was determined that the incident was not serious. There was no physical abuse, and the spouse has made it clear that they do not wish to press charges. The case is currently in the process of being closed.”

On that day, according to the police, on the 24th of last month, a report was made that actor A had assaulted his wife B at their home in Bucheon City, prompting the police to respond. A had an argument with B and attempted to leave the house, but a fight broke out when B tried to stop him. The police investigated A on suspicion of assault, but since B, his wife, did not wish to press charges, the case was classified as a domestic protection incident rather than a criminal case.

It was later revealed that actor A is Lee Jihun.
