「BTS」JINの「Echo」、Spotifyで累計ストリーミング5億回を突破
BTS' JIN's ”Echo” surpasses 500 million cumulative streams on Spotify
JIN (BTS) has set an astonishing record on Spotify with his second album 'Echo', proving his global popularity.

JIN's second solo album 'Echo', released in May 2025, surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music platform, as of August 16th, achieving a remarkable feat.

With this achievement, JIN recorded an astonishing speed of surpassing 500 million streams in just three months since the release, showcasing his overwhelming music power as a representative global superstar.

The title track of 'Echo', 'Don't Say You Love Me', has recorded 344.23 million streams to date, leading the album's overall streaming numbers.

Other tracks like 'Nothing Without Your Love' with 30.63 million streams and 'Loser (feat. YENA)' with 29.02 million streams have also received widespread support, with all tracks on the album exceeding 20 million streams. The fact that all tracks are being listened to in a balanced manner, rather than just a single hit, highlights the musical spectrum of 'Echo', which spans genres from 1980s synth-pop to Britpop, pop-punk, country rock, heavy metal, and alternative rock.

'Don't Say You Love Me' topped the Spotify Global Chart, becoming the first song by an Asian artist to reach the top of the global chart since its release in 2025. Additionally, it held the number one spot on the Spotify Top Songs Japan Chart for 41 consecutive days, making JIN the K-POP male solo artist with the longest-running number one position in Japanese Spotify chart history.

Furthermore, JIN's 'Echo' has achieved significant milestones beyond its success on Spotify. According to chart data, it became the first Korean solo artist's album to top the pure sales chart in the US during the first half of 2025 and received a “Gold” certification (over 100,000 units shipped) from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

During his world tour, JIN's name was etched alongside new landmarks. At the Honda Center in Anaheim, USA, he set a record for the highest number of attendees in history, with all seats sold out for all performances, and held a solo concert at the O2 Arena in London, creating a stage that will go down in history for K-POP solo artists. Rolling Stone in the UK gave it a perfect five-star rating, praising JIN as “the one and only, unparalleled entertainer in the world.”

Expanding his influence across all fields, including music, albums, performances, and branding, JIN is currently working on the production of BTS's group album in the US. Fans are eagerly anticipating what new facets of his talent he will showcase in this album, scheduled for release in the first half of next year.
