Three people drown at Goseong beach... One suffers cardiac arrest (South Korea)

Firefighters were called to the scene after three summer visitors drowned at a beach just before it closed the next day.
A report was received that three people had drowned while snorkeling at Gonghyunjin Beach in Jukwang-myeon, Goseong-gun.
Two of them managed to escape on their own, but Mr. A (49) was rescued in a state of cardiac arrest and was taken to Sokcho Medical Center.
Police and fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the accident through witnesses. Meanwhile, most beaches in Gangwon Province, with the exception of Sokcho and Yangyang, will be closed on the 17th.
