When the Hua family was looking for a private teacher, Shen Qi defended those who were insulting the Hua family. Gu Yanxi replaced Hua Zhi with Mu Chengzhi, one of the leading Confucian scholars in the capital.
On the other hand, Li Gui, a bodyguard who recommends his son Li Jisong as a martial arts teacher, aggressively demands his salary and sends a letter to Li Jisong, who becomes the teacher of the Hua family.
She plots to seize power in the family. Hua Zhi's family is made up of women and children, so she cannot easily dismiss them. On the day of the Dragon Boat Festival, Lin Wan finds out that Hua Zhi is serving porridge to the family.

He agrees, but Li Gui's son, Li Jizong, rebels against Gu Yanxi. Gu Yanxi is touched by the kindness of Hua Zhi, who is the first person to protect him.
