韓国政府、北からの “放射性廃水放出”疑惑に「異状なし」
South Korean government says there is nothing unusual about the suspected release of radioactive wastewater from North Korea
The South Korean government said, "In response to concerns that wastewater from a uranium refinery in Pyeongsan County, North Hwanghae Province, North Korea, was flowing into the Seohae (West Sea: Yellow Sea), an investigation was conducted and abnormalities were found."
On the 19th, the South Korean government said, "Samples were taken at seven locations in early August and analysis of uranium and five heavy metals was carried out, and no abnormalities were found."
The South Korean government has been working with relevant ministries and agencies since last month to address concerns over the widespread suspicion of wastewater discharge from the Pyeongsan uranium plant.
We have conducted a special fact-finding survey.
