「東方神起」チャンミン、留学生になった…「香港は仕事で来たが、こんな経験は初めて」
TVXQ's Changmin becomes a foreign student... ”I came to Hong Kong for work, but this is my first experience like this”
In “Architecture with a Purpose: Travelers of Space,” Hong Seok-chun and Changmin (TVXQ) become architecture students in Hong Kong.

The MBC educational program “Architecture with a Purpose: Travelers of Space,” which will air on August 26th, depicts broadcasters Hong Seok-chun and Changmin as they depart for Hong Kong to study architecture. Hong Kong, known as a city of gourmet food and shopping, is generating anticipation as a new destination for a “city of architecture” tour.

Arriving in Hong Kong ahead of architect Yu Hyun-jun, Hong Seok-cheon and Changmin are eager to solve the mysterious challenges posed by Yu Hyun-jun. Changmin, who usually only travels between performance venues, hotels, and airports when abroad, expresses curiosity about Hong Kong's urban landscape, saying, “I came to Hong Kong for work, but this is my first time experiencing something like this.”

The two solve Yoo Hyun-jun's challenge of “opening at 10 a.m. sharp” and head toward a symbolic space that embodies Hong Kong's geographical features. The first space, located between the central financial district and the Mid-Levels residential area, is famous for being the world's longest “this.” Hong Sok-chun was delighted to recognize it from the Hong Kong film “Love in the City,” but was puzzled by the different scenery from the movie. Changmin marveled at the changing scenery as people gathered at 10 a.m., sparking curiosity about what they had seen.

Additionally, Changmin discovers environmentally friendly building materials commonly seen throughout Hong Kong's urban areas. These materials, varying in shape and scale, are said to incorporate the characteristics of Hong Kong's climate. The two are overcome with curiosity and shout, “Professor!” as they eagerly search for architect Yu Hyun-jun. Their interest is drawn to the unique features of Hong Kong that were previously unseen and unknown.

After touring the forest of skyscrapers, the two move to the West Kowloon Peninsula across the sea and encounter a new type of architecture completely different from Hong Kong Island. They are amazed by the secrets of this building, which has been transformed into a unique exhibition space with its own obstacles. Hong Sok-chun, in particular, adds his own interpretation, saying, "It seems like a place that introduces Hong Kong citizens, who are accustomed to narrow spaces, to the taste of wide spaces. “a space that offers Hong Kong residents a place to rest.” He adds his own interpretation, saying, “I saw people jogging here, and it was very picturesque. Both architecturally and personally (?), where is this place that captured Hong Sok-chun's heart?”

Hong Sok-chun and Chan Min's Hong Kong architectural study period will be broadcast on Korean MBC's “Architecture with a Reason - Travelers of Space” on Tuesday, August 26th, at 9 PM.
