On the sixth episode of "Salon de Doll: You're So Talkative," which aired in Korea on the 29th, KARA's Nicole and SISTAR's SOYOU appeared as guests and talked about everything from behind-the-scenes stories from their idol days to real-life romance.
Nicole and SOYOU are close members of the "91 line," who started out as idols around the same time as MCs Key (SHINee) and Lee Changsub (BTOB), and have built a friendship ever since. Gathering together for the first time in a long time, the four boasted genuine chemistry as if they had just met yesterday, making the passage of time even more apparent when they said, "If you add up all the years we've been together, it's been over 60 years," bringing home the feeling of time.
Key recalled the atmosphere back then when they were the same age but seniors, saying, "At first, both SOYOU and Changsub found Nicole and me difficult to approach."
During that day's broadcast, a heated discussion unfolded on the topic, "After what year of idol dormitory life do they begin to desire independence?" Lee Changsub revealed the circumstances that led him to become independent six years after starting his Vocaline dormitory life with Seo Eun-kwang, Lim Hyun-sik, and Yook Sungjae three or four years after BTOB's debut.
In particular, Key revealed for the first time on the broadcast his "secret dormitory escape story," which he quietly put into action without telling anyone, saying, "There's no story like this among K-pop idols."
Meanwhile, ENA's "Salon de Doll: You're So Talkative," an immersive talk show featuring K-pop idols who are constantly talking about various issues, airs Fridays at 10 p.m. in Korea.
