Foreign medical tourists visiting Seoul reach 1 million people = 64% are for plastic surgery = Korea

Last year, the number of foreign tourists visiting Seoul, South Korea, reached a record high of nearly 1 million, 2.1 times the number of the previous year (413,340), and the number of foreign tourists visiting Seoul was also 2.1 times higher than the number of the previous year (413,340), due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is more than 3.1 times the previous figure of 320,284 in 2019.
According to the "Current Status of Attracting Foreign Patients in 2024," there were 1,170,467 foreign patients from 202 countries last year.
It was found that 999,642 of these foreign patients visited Korea for medical tourism within Seoul. In addition, the medical treatment for foreign patients visiting Seoul was "orthopedics" for 665,382 people (
This was the most common response rate (64.2%).
