”KATSEYE,” a hit at Summer Sonic, is making a comeback on the UK official charts... a terrifying global force

Girl group 'KATSEYE's 'chart backtracking' gusts are fierce.

　According to the Official UK Charts released on September 5th (local time), 'Gabriela', a song from 'KATSEYE's 2nd EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS', occupied 46th place on the Official Single Top 100 (September 5th-11th).

　The song entered the 'Official Single Top 100' (June 27th-3rd) at number 42 in its first week of release, the group's highest position on this chart. It then ranked at No. 65 (July 4th-10th), No. 87 (July 11th-17th) and No. 83 (July 25th-31st), before catching its breath for a while and re-entering the chart at No. 97 (August 8th-14th), signalling the beginning of its second popularity sprint.

　In fact, 'Gabriela' rose 20 places to No. 77 on the charts the following week (August 15th-21th). It then rose to No. 46 this week, after reaching No. 61 (August 22th-28th) and No. 53 (August 29th - September 4th). This is a formidable bottom line at a time when the soundtrack has been on sale for about two and a half months.

　KATSEYE's strong momentum continues on Spotify, the world's largest sound streaming platform. On the same day, three of their songs were placed on the latest Spotify 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart (Aug 29th - Sept 4th), which was updated on the same day. 'Gabriela', 'Gnarly' and 'Touch' reached No. 28, No. 87 and No. 174 respectively.

　The girls' performances at 'Lollapalooza Chicago' and 'SUMMER SONIC 2025' have become a word of mouth, and the 'GAP' advertising campaign in which 'KATSEYE' appeared has attracted attention, making both their new songs as well as songs from their debut album popular.

　On the other hand, 'KATSEYE' is preparing for a pre-show performance at the '2025 MTV Video Music Awards' to be held at the UBS Arena in New York City, USA, on November 7th. All tickets for the tour have already been sold out.
