2PM's Lee Junho releases poster for ”Romantic 1997”... 'Typhoon Family' premieres on October 11th

Lee Jun-ho (2PM) of tvN's new weekend drama 'Typhoon Family' has unveiled a poster for 'Romantic 1997', showcasing his transformation into a young man from that era.

'Typhoon Family' depicts the struggles and growth of Kang Tae-poong, a rookie trading company employee who becomes president of a trading company with no IMF, no employees, no money, and nothing to sell in 1997. This heartwarming tale of ordinary people who held on to their positions and refused to give up on life, even during a dark time when the world seemed to be ending due to the crisis that hit South Korea, is expected to provide warm comfort and courage to those going through difficult times today.

The poster, released today (8th), focuses on Kang Tae-poong (Junho), who enjoyed freedom and wealth to his heart's content in 1997. Befitting an icon of youth from that era, his brimmed hair and unique fashion style are drawing attention. Moreover, his relaxed pose leaning out the car window and cool gaze give off a commercial-like vibe.

Kang Tae-poong, who has lived a life of abundance without knowing what it means to lack, is a man who, thanks to his father's business, has never felt the weight of the world. He has lived a life of spending what he wanted and doing everything he wanted, and while he appears free and glamorous, he is soon facing major changes. His youth, which he enjoyed to the fullest, is about to come to an end when the enormous typhoon known as the IMF (International Monetary Fund-induced Korean currency crisis) hits.

Thrusted into the position of president of a trading company that collapses overnight, his life, which he had previously lived knowing only himself, becomes a fierce battlefield where he must take responsibility for the survival of his employees. What choices will Kang, who used to be a free-spirited man, make and how will he grow in the face of the rough and turbulent waves of "survival"?
