”Frankenstein” Kyu Hyun (SUPER JUNIOR) and Park Eun-tae, a moving screen on stage... ”I hope you enjoy it just like a performance”
"I think it's meaningful to record the musical on film because it's a record of when I was youngest and on stage," said singer and musical actor "SUPER

The performances of Park Eun-tae and Kyu Hyun, who gave passionate performances in the musical "Frankenstein," can now be seen in vivid cinema footage.
"Frankenstein: The Musical Live" is a live performance incorporating the stage of the 10th anniversary performance of the musical "Frankenstein" that was performed at Blue Square in Seoul last year.
On the 9th, at the press conference for the movie "Frankenstein: The Musical Live" held at the Seoul MEGABOX Seongsu branch, Park Eun-tae said, "It's a movie that can't be seen on stage.
"The greatest strength of film is that it allows viewers to experience new and unique expressions," he said, "and with the addition of directorial intent, the close-ups and composition change for each scene, allowing viewers to experience new interpretations and emotions that could not be felt on stage."
Kyu Hyun said, "Because the filming is announced in advance, there is a sense of tension that there must be no mistakes in the lines or numbers."
"In fact, it would be more natural if we filmed it secretly," he said with a laugh. The musical "Frankenstein" is about Victor Frankenstein, a 19th century scientist who tried to create an immortal soldier.
The film tells the story of Kenstein and the monster born from his experiments. All six main actors play dual roles. Kyu Hyun plays the genius scientist Victor and the vile martial arts master.
Park Eun-tae plays Jack, alternating between the roles of Henri, a military doctor with strong convictions, and the monster created by Victor, who becomes filled with despair and rage.
Park Eun-tae said that the most important thing to consider when watching a film is the "one person playing two roles."
"The face that Henri saw in his memory in the first act appears as Victor's face, but it is actually a different person, but it is the image that is projected in Henri's mind.
He continued, "Knowing this context, even audiences who are unfamiliar with the work will find it interesting and understand why one person chose to play two roles."
The 13-camera footage, optimized for theatrical screening, and Dolby Atmos surround sound create a powerful sense of immersion.
Director Jae-seok said, "My goal was to convey the actors' breathing and emotions to the audience," and added, "Through Dolby Atmos sound, the lines and songs sound more vivid and three-dimensional."
The live performance footage is blurring the line between stage and film. Kim Ji-Woo, vice president of EMK Musical Company, said, "Recently, many works have been adapted into films.
"I've gained some know-how in filming techniques while working in this field," he said, adding, "I think that in the future, live performance footage will be recognized as a genre in the film industry."
The main actors said that they hope viewers will enjoy the movie as if it were a real performance. Kyu Hyun said, "No matter where you sit in this movie, you can see the vivid scenes as if you were wearing opera glasses."
Park Eun-tae said, "Just like when you clap and cheer after a musical performance, I hope you will watch the show with the same feeling as if you were watching a stage performance at the theater."
