SEVENTEEN's WOOZI enlists in the army today (15th)... ”I'm going with a full-time job.”

WOOZI (SEVENTEEN) will enlist in the Army as an active-duty soldier today (the 15th). He is the third member of the team to begin military service, following JEONGHAN and WONWOO.

His agency, Pledis Entertainment, announced WOOZI's military service in July, requesting, “As the training center entrance ceremony is a place where many soldiers and family members gather, we kindly ask that you refrain from visiting the site.”

As explained by Pledis Entertainment, no separate events will be held at today's training center induction ceremony.

WOOZI was spotted in the audience at SEVENTEEN's concert “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]” held at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium the previous day, the 14th. WOOZI posted on Weverse “Today was the first time I saw the members and CARAT (fandom name) together from outside, smiling at the music I made. It made me incredibly happy.” He added, “I'm entering [the military] with strength gained beforehand. I'll go and come back safely.”

Following WOOZI, HOSHI is scheduled to enlist on the 16th. JUNGHAN enlisted last September, and WONHO enlisted this April; both are currently serving their alternative service.

WOOZI's group SEVENTEEN debuted in 2015. They are beloved by global fans for numerous songs including 'Pretty U', 'Very NICE', and 'Super'.
