”RIIZE” to perform at Tokyo Dome in the shortest time for a K-pop boy group... Surprise announcement: ”It will be held in February next year”
RIIZE has set a new record for the shortest time among K-pop boy groups to perform at Japan's Tokyo Dome.
"RIIZE" was the first world event held at the Yoyogi National Stadium No. 1 Gymnasium in Tokyo from September 13th to 15th.
The tour was sold out, with over 33,000 fans in attendance. At the end of the first performance, which was member Sungchan's birthday, the band announced that they would be holding a Tokyo Dome Special concert from February 21st to 23rd, 2026.
The surprise announcement of the l Edition concert drew an explosive response. In particular, RIIZE will be holding a three-day solo concert at Tokyo Dome for the first time in about two years and five months since their debut in September 2023.
This marks the shortest time for a K-pop boy group to perform at the Tokyo Dome, and they have demonstrated their ability to draw huge audiences not only in Korea but also overseas.
RIIZE's popularity as ONE TOP has been proven once again. Previously, RIIZE was the first K-pop boy group to debut after 2023 to have a solo album, according to the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
"Get A Guitar" was certified gold in the single album category, and the Japanese single "Lucky" was certified gold in the single album cumulative shipment category.
With their first full album "ODYSSEY" receiving a "Gold" certification and their "Latin" certification, expectations are high that their growth will accelerate in the future, supported by the firepower of their local fans.
Meanwhile, RIIZE, who is continuing their successful first world tour "RIIZING LOUD," will hold their next performance at Impact Arena in Bangkok on September 20th and 21st.
