Chinese actor Yu Menglong's cause of death revealed... False rumor that he was drunk and fell from a car has been explained

Amid the passing of popular Chinese actor Alan Yu, his mother has made a statement.

　On the 16th, the mother of the late Yu Menglong released a statement via her son's studio's social media account.

The mother stated, “Recently, I have experienced unimaginable grief. My beloved son, Yu Menglong, passed away forever from an accident where he fell from a building while intoxicated.” She added, “The police have investigated the circumstances of the incident and informed me. Funeral arrangements have already been completed.”

　She continued, “I earnestly request everyone to view this incident rationally and refrain from speculation. I too wish to return to a peaceful life, cherish the memories, and live each day faithfully. This would be Yu Menglong's wish.”

She added, “Finally, I pray that Yu Menglong rests peacefully in heaven.”

　Earlier, Yu Menglong fell to his death from a building in Beijing, China, in the early hours of the 11th. He was 37 years old.

According to Taiwanese entertainment media ETtoday, Yu Menglong had dinner with six acquaintances at a friend's home the previous day. In the early hours of the 11th, he closed the door to his bedroom and rested. He was found deceased around 6:00 AM.

　Yu Menglong began his entertainment career in 2013 after placing 10th on the audition show 'Happy Boys'. He subsequently appeared in dramas such as 'The Princess's Rhapsody' and 'Three Lives Three Worlds, Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms'. He was also well-known among Chinese drama fans in South Korea.
