NTX released their full-length album "OVER TRACK" in March of this year, and after a showcase in Seoul, Korea, they have successfully held release events and live shows in Tokyo.
The album contains 11 songs packed with energetic sounds and heartfelt messages, and the lead track "OVER N OVER" has received high praise both in Japan and overseas.
Continuing this momentum, they embarked on a sold-out tour of eight Brazilian states in June, and have since embarked on a successful world tour of six Latin American countries, establishing themselves as a global artist.
In August, they filmed the English version of the music video for "OVER N OVER" in the Philippines and appeared at a fan event.
They have also attracted attention from Dia, proving their growing international popularity. In October, they will be holding an exclusive performance at the Mall of Asia Arena, the largest indoor venue in Metro Manila.
Just before that, they have decided to hold a live event in Osaka to give their Japanese fans a special moment.
What are their thoughts now as they prepare for their first performance in Osaka in a long time?
We asked NTX about their thoughts on the upcoming event. Q. NTX has had successful live shows all over the world, but the sense of unity and energy at their shows is particularly impressive.
What points would you like fans to pay attention to at NTX's upcoming Japan tour? Please tell us a little about the highlights.
CHANGHUN: It's been a while since we last performed in Japan, so we were thinking, "What do Japanese fans want? Let's have fun."
We prepared the show with a focus on the question, "What are the points that can be appreciated by the audience?" We have prepared Japanese songs performed by units, as well as performance songs that are currently popular in Japan.
We will also be preparing a stage that many Japanese NTFUL (fans) have said they want to see, so we hope that many of you will come!
YUNHYEOK: It's been a while since we last performed in Japan, and it's been quite a while since we last performed in Osaka, especially since it's a new venue, so I think we'll be able to deliver an even more enjoyable experience.
After the overseas tour, I feel that all the members have improved their performance skills and have also grown in terms of fan service, so I hope you will pay attention to these aspects and enjoy the show.
Q. Your full album "OVER TRACK," released in March this year, has garnered a huge response globally. Among the songs, which one has particularly impressed you with the reaction of fans?
Do you have any memories or stories related to the song? YUNHYEOK: The title song "OVER N
OVER” was the song that got the best response.
It gave me goosebumps to cheer along with everyone else, and I felt a great energy.
HYEONGJIN: There is a signature gesture in "WASSUP."
It was said that the shape of my pose looks like a chicken's foot (lol), and it was so cute when all the fans greeted me in that pose, it really left a lasting impression on me! Q.
I think that messages and letters from fans are a great encouragement for all members. Of the words you received recently, were there any that particularly resonated with you or that influenced your way of thinking or your activities?
Please tell us any stories you have. EUNHO: When I read the letter from NTFUL, there was a phrase that really struck me. "Can I really help someone?"
The message was that no matter how close or far you are, you should never forget that you are bringing hope and happiness to someone's life, and those words gave me a lot of strength.
RAWHYUN: The words "No matter where you are, I'm always cheering for you from afar" really stuck in my mind. They often say "When we're far away, our hearts drift apart," but when we were on an overseas schedule,
Every time I went to the stadium, I thought the fans must be feeling lonely, but I was really happy to hear that they were quietly supporting me even though we were so far apart.
Q. What would you like to experience during your visit to Japan? Where would you like to visit? Or are there any memorable memories from your stay so far?
HOJUN: When asked, "Is there anywhere in Japan you want to go?", my answer is always the same.
I would most like to go to Sapporo. Even if it's not for travel, I would like to go there at least once for work. I know that Japan has beautiful scenery, but personally I think Sapporo is the most beautiful.
It's definitely a place I want to go to. CHANGHUN: The performance schedule this time is a little short, so there may not be enough time to experience anything, but Universal Studios Japan
I would love to go to Studio Japan and Fuji-Q Highland. I went to Universal Studios Japan three years ago, and it was such a fun memory that I'm not going back.
I would love to go there once, and personally I love scary roller coasters, and I've heard that Fuji-Q has some really scary and thrilling coasters, so I'd love to go!
Q. As a group or as individuals, are there any new music genres or styles you would like to try in the future? Or are there any dreams or goals you would like to achieve as artists? Please tell us in detail.
SEUNGWON: As a group, we want to try everything if we have the opportunity. In fact, our group is still trying new things, and through our overseas performances, we are also getting to know the musical tastes of each country.
Now that we understand it a lot, we would like to use it as a reference when creating songs. Our goal is to gather NTFUL from all over the world and perform on a big stage.
I want to be able to heal many people with my music, just as I do now. XIHA: As an artist, I want to hone my skills and become someone who can teach others how to dance.
I would like to be a wonderful senior who can help develop juniors. I would also like to try a sexy genre that I have never done before, and someday I would like to perform.
I'd like to try some tricks too! Q. Finally, please give a message to NTFUL who are looking forward to the performance!
HOJUN: It's been a while since I've been to Japan to see NTFUL, so please look forward to it!
I think you'll be able to see the other members as well. We'll be in Osaka for 3 days and 5 shows, so I hope you'll enjoy your time with us. Thank you! I love you!
EUNHO: It's been a while since I've been to Japan, and I'm really excited to meet NTFUL!! Let's make lots of fun and happy memories together~
As we can see from the interview, they are preparing for their first performance in Japan in a long time with great anticipation and passion. Music, performance, and feelings towards their fans - everything.
This Osaka live event is sure to be a special time for both the members and NTFUL. In addition, a free showcase is scheduled to be held on October 3rd.
