[Full text] Actor Jung Sung Il divorces, no reason for blame... Will do his best to raise his children

South Korean actor Jung Sung-il has divorced.

On the 14th, his agency XYZ STUDIO released an official statement: "After much careful consideration over a long period with his spouse, actor Jung Sung-il has decided to end his marriage."

The agency stated, "We respectfully request restraint from distorted or speculative reporting, as this decision was reached through mutual, amicable agreement rather than due to any fault of either party." They added, "While their legal relationship has been settled, they will support each other's paths and are sincerely committed to doing their utmost together regarding the upbringing of their child."

They added, "Actor Jung Sung-il intends to do his utmost to continue presenting a positive image as an actor, and we ask for your continued interest and support."

Meanwhile, Jung Sung-il married in 2016 and has one son. Jung Sung-il garnered much affection for his role as Ha Do-yong, the husband of Park Young-jin (played by Im Ji-young), in the 2022 Netflix series The Glory.
