Actor Yeo Jin Goo (28) announced his enlistment by revealing a handwritten letter on stage at a fan meeting.
Yeo Jin Goo recently participated in the ongoing 20th anniversary Asian fan meet.
At the end of his performance on the "Blank Space" tour, he handed out letters to his fans to announce his enlistment. In the letter, he wrote, "I will be away from you all for a while to have new experiences.
The time is fast approaching. If I can see your faces, meet your eyes, and smile together on my last Asia tour before enlisting, every moment will become a truly precious memory for me.
He continued, "Thanks to the warm love and support you all have given me, I was able to move forward without getting tired and with a burning passion.
While I've been away from you all, I will return as a stronger and more mature person. I promise to stand before you with a healthier body and mind, and with even deeper acting skills."
He added, "Please don't be too sad. There are 30 TV series and 20 movies that remind you of 'Yeo Jin Goo'. Whenever you think of me, you can watch them all at once.
I'll be grateful if you wait for me. You'll wait for me, right? I'll come back even better when we meet again. I love you."
Yeo Jin Goo, born in 1997, is 28 years old this year. He made his debut in the film "Sad Movie" in 2005, and then appeared in the TV series "The Sun"
He gained popularity through many works, including "The Moon I Embrace," "The Man Who Became King," "Hotel Del Luna," and the film "Fai: The Boy Raised by the Devil."
Currently, before enlisting in the military, he is holding fan meetings in Jakarta, Tokyo, Osaka, Shanghai, etc.
