The findings were revealed in a three-day opinion poll conducted by the Korea Economic Research Institute (KRI) on 1,000 men and women aged 18 and over from the 13th.
When asked, "What do you think is most important?" 79% of respondents answered economic growth, while only 17% answered income distribution. Public opinion is similar regardless of age, region, political party affiliation, or ideological leanings.
Of those who described themselves as progressive (271 people), 69% chose economic growth and 30% chose income distribution, while of those who described themselves as conservative (284 people), 88% chose economic growth and 30% chose income distribution.
The middle class (319 people) saw economic growth at 83% and income distribution at 15%. The survey was conducted from October 13th to 15th, and involved 1,000 men and women aged 18 and over nationwide.
The subjects were randomly selected to use virtual mobile phone numbers (100%) provided by the three telecommunications companies and telephone interviews were conducted.
