At midnight on the 21st, LE SSERAFIM revealed additional details about their first single ‘SPAGHETTI’ via a highlight medley and tracklist posted on HYBE LABELS' YouTube channel and the group's official SNS. The new album will feature two tracks: the title song ‘SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)’ and ‘Pearlies (My oyster is the world)’. The tracklist is designed with a cookbook concept, adding visual enjoyment. The highlight medley video intensely showcases the themes of spaghetti and pearls for each track, conveying the songs' atmosphere by visualising the dynamism of splattering spaghetti sauce and the subtle shimmer of pearls.
The title track likens the persistent presence of LE SSERAFIM – the kind that keeps circling in your mind and makes you think about them – to spaghetti stuck between your teeth. The distinctive lyrics revealed in the highlight medley, such as “SPAGHETTI stuck between my teeth / I want to get it out bon appétit" and "SSERAFIM stuck in my head", stick in your ears. Furthermore, the melody within the alternative funk pop genre leaves a powerful impression. SAKURA and Huh Yoon-jin participated in the songwriting, with J-HOPE (BTS) featuring.
The track ‘Pearlies (My oyster is the world)’ stands out for its disco pop style rhythmic cadence and lighthearted vocals. It is a fan song expressing gratitude to ‘FEARNOT’, the fans who have supported LE SSERAFIM, born from thoughts Huh Yoon-jin shared during the world tour. At the Incheon concert held in April, she conveyed, "I held the belief that 'just as a pearl is formed, I too will create my own pearl', and vowed to 'protect the fans who share that journey with me'."
LE SSERAFIM's first single, ‘SPAGHETTI’, will be released at 1 PM on the 24th. They will appear on the comeback programme ‘Spaghetti, Wrapping the Earth’, airing on Mnet and M2's YouTube channels at 10 PM the same day.
