Prime Minister Takaichi will attend the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) Summit in Malaysia on the 26th.
Regarding US President Trump, he said, "The Japan-US alliance is the cornerstone of Japan's diplomacy and security," and added, "If I could meet with President Trump, I would like to have a frank exchange of opinions and build a relationship of trust between the leaders."
