[Official] Kang HaNeul & Cha EUN WOO (ASTRO)'s ”First Ride” tops the box office on its opening day... ”Firefighter” breaks the opening score

The film "Stride" ranked first at the overall box office.

On its opening day on the 29th, "Stride" drew 82,687 viewers (cumulative audience of 103,928), surpassing "Chainsaw Man: The Movie - Reze" to take an overwhelming first place at the box office.

This surpassed the opening score (81,673 viewers) of the hit film "Fireman: The Truth of the Fight 2001", which drew 3.85 million viewers.
It also follows the opening score (85,705 viewers) of Kang Ha-neul's previous film, "The Opposition", which drew 3.37 million viewers and ranked second in Korean box office earnings in 2025.

Stride features Tae-joong (Kang Ha-neul), who sees things through to the end; the cheerful Do-jin (Kim Young-kwang), the handsome Yeong-min (Chae-woo), the sleepyhead Geum-bok (Kang Yeong-seok), and the adorable Ok-sim (Han Seon-a). The film is currently receiving rave reviews in South Korea.
