NCT's Do Yeong and Jungwoo to enlist together on December 8th

Members Do Yeong and Jungwoo of the South Korean boy band NCT will commence their military service in December.

SM Entertainment announced via an official statement on the 29th: "Do Yeong will enlist as an active-duty soldier in the Army on 8 December, while Jungwoo, having received notification of his acceptance into the Army Band, is scheduled to enlist on the same day."

The agency stated, "No separate official events will be held on the day of enlistment," adding, "As this is a place shared by numerous soldiers and their families, we kindly request fans refrain from visiting the site."

SM continued, "We ask for your continued love and support so that Do Yeong and Jungwoo can faithfully fulfil their military service obligations and return in even better health."

Do Yeong and Jungwoo debuted in the music industry as members of the groups NCT U and NCT 127. Do Yeong has continued his activities with solo albums and an Asian tour, starting with his first solo album 'YOUTH' last year.
