South Korean with world's highest IQ seeks asylum in the US, saying ”South Korea doesn't exist”

Kim Young-hoon, a South Korean national known for having the world's highest IQ, has caused a stir after it was revealed that he had applied for asylum in the United States.
He was officially announced as the person with the highest IQ ever recorded at the World Memory Championships, at 276.
In addition, only those with the highest IQ record, recognized by the Korea Records Institute, can join.
He is known as the only Korean member of the "Mega Society," a group of super-intelligent individuals. Kim recently posted on social media that he is a "Christian and the holder of the world's highest IQ."
"I can no longer stay in South Korea, where the truth of the Bible and freedom of religion are being suppressed under a pro-North Korean (pro-North Korea) left-wing government," he said, criticizing the current government.
He continued, "There is no longer any South Korea. There is only North Korea. This is because the South Korean government has become pro-North Korea." "Therefore, I am not a political or religious opponent.
"I am the first Korean to apply for asylum under the Donald Trump administration due to the crimes committed by the South Korean government," he said.
"I will be sent to a prison," he said, claiming that "religion and freedom are being threatened in South Korea." The "religious persecution" that Kim mentioned was the case of Pastor Son Hyun-bo of Saegero Church in Busan.
This is believed to refer to the case in which he was detained on suspicion of violating the Public Offices Election Act and the Local Education Autonomy Act.
