Film director Kim Chang-min passed away on the 7th due to a cerebral haemorrhage. The funeral parlour has been set up in Room 1 of Hanyang University Kuri Hospital Funeral Hall. The coffin will be carried out at 6:00 am on the 10th, with the burial site being Yeonhwajang in Suwon Crematorium.

The bereaved family of the late Director Kim Chang-min announced the news via his social media on the 8th. His sister stated, "Despite the earnest wishes of our entire family, my brother, who collapsed from a cerebral haemorrhage on the 20th of last month, ultimately could not regain consciousness. After being declared brain dead on the 7th, he shared precious new life with four people through organ donation and departed to be with God."

She continued, "Though he appeared strong on the surface, he was the warmest and most vulnerable person of all," adding, "To those who remember my brother, I would be grateful if you could pray from afar that his final journey is not lonely, and keep him in your thoughts."

During his lifetime, Kim Chang-min began as part of the props team for the 2013 film 'The Suspect' and debuted his first film, 'Whose Daughter', in 2016. He subsequently worked on the art teams for films including 'General Kim Chan-soo', 'That's My World', 'The Witch', 'Witness', 'The Drug King', and 'Astronomy: Ask the Sky'. In 2019, he released his second directorial work, 'Gui Station Exit 3'.
