[Exclusive Interview] ”In A Minute” is currently holding a release event in Tokyo, where they talk about interacting with fans and their thoughts on their activities in Japan.

To commemorate the release of "PLAY," a release event is being held in Tokyo.
The tour kicked off in Osaka from October 10th to 13th, and will continue in Tokyo from November. The band captivated the audience with their powerful performances, including the title song "How We Do,"
They warmly interacted with the fans through talks that mixed in with their own language. The venue was filled with excitement and cheers from start to finish, making for a fulfilling performance.
Minute" will pre-debut in October 2024 and release their first single, "Unboxing: What" in March 2025.
They officially debuted with "You Wanted". Former members of "TAN" JAEJUN (JAEJUNG) and HYUNYEOP (Hyeon Yeop), and former member of "JT & MARCUS" JUNTAE (Jun
They are a three-member boy band consisting of Tae. They are known for their unique worldview that combines emotional melodies with powerful performances, and their determination to "capture the hearts of listeners in an instant" is what makes them stand out.

The release event has now moved to Tokyo after its Osaka performance.
It will be held at FC LIVE TOKYO HALL from November 11th to 16th, and all performances are free to attend.

We asked them about how they spent their time in Tokyo and their thoughts for the future. Q. Please introduce the member sitting next to you.

In the song "Minute," he is a strong supporter of the main part. He is also very kind. I'm the youngest member of the team, but he's really nice to me, and I think that's what makes him so great.
I think that's what makes it so appealing. JUNTAE → JAEJUN JAEJUN is the leader of "In A Minute" and is a genius producer and composer.
As the head of the group, he is the one who is most in charge of the color and direction of the group's music. We've been together for a long time, and his passion for music is stronger than anyone else's, and he's a truly outstanding person.
Q. You are currently in the middle of a release event in Tokyo. Have you taken on any new challenges on stage or had any moments where you felt that you had grown as a person?
JAEJUN: Japanese is really difficult for me, but I prepared some Japanese comments for the release event.
"Everyone, are you ready to have fun with us at the release event today?
Let's have the best time ever!' And I also learned a new word: 'shout'. HYUNYEOP: Originally, I used the phrase 'shout out', but recently
We learned the word "shout" and use it often. All: "Everyone, shout!" HYUNYEOP: None of us are fluent in Japanese yet, but we've used it three times this year alone.
This is my first visit to Japan, so I feel like I'm improving little by little as I go about my schedule. Fans and MCs have often taught me, and I've gained more vocabulary that I can use.
Q. How did you feel about the fans' reactions and the atmosphere at the venue at this Japan release event? Were there any comments or incidents from fans that particularly made an impression on you?
JUNTAE: It was the third day of the event, but we had an event at a different venue yesterday. From the moment the song started playing during the rehearsal, the fans, known as "INNING," were singing along to me.
He sang all of our songs with us, and I felt that he was giving us a lot of strength even during the rehearsal stage.
JAEJUN: During the release event, many INNING members came and supported us.
I was really surprised when they sang along with us all the cheering techniques we used when we were active in Korea. HYUNYEOP: The letters we receive from our fans really give us a lot of strength.
When I read the letters while I'm waiting or at home after work, I can tell that the sender used their time and feelings to write them, and it gives me strength for the next day.
Q. Are most of the letters written in Korean? HYUNYEOP: Yes, many people write to me in Korean.
I have received letters in other languages, but I translate the parts I can't read using Papago.
How do you want to express the worldview of "Play"? Please tell us if there are any points in the performance that you are particularly conscious of.
JUNTAE: As the word "BGM" suggests, I wanted to create an album with songs that could connect with any moment or emotion in the listener's daily life.
I hope that by including songs that fit the theme, you can feel our music in your everyday life.
"Do" conveys the message that no matter what happens around you, you should not be influenced by your circumstances and should move forward in the direction you want to go.
I hope that this feeling will be conveyed to the people who listen to our songs. Q. What is the key point of your performance?
JAEJUN: I think it's a dance that's easy for everyone to imitate. It's easy to understand, like "This is how you do it," and people can imitate it right away.
Q. What is the atmosphere like between the members? What is it like backstage, in the dressing room, while traveling, and what is your daily life like?
HYUNYEOP: We are very close and like to joke around with each other. When we want to relax, we have fun playing games and word games.
When I have to concentrate on the stage, I can switch gears and concentrate. JAEJUN: In Japan, we sleep together in an apartment, and when we sleep on futons,
, he even goes out of his way to go over to HYUNYEOP's place (laughs) JUNTAE: Even if the lights are off, he comes over and turns them all on, he's always playing pranks.
JAEJUN: We're always messing around, so we often play pranks on each other. HYUNYEOP: There's a story behind it. We all have the same futons.
Only the color is different. My two hyungs have white and I have navy blue, but JAEJUN hyung always says, "This one is softer," and wants mine (laughs).
JAEJUN: No, it's not that (laughs) HYUNYEOP: They're really the same! JUNTAE: The older brothers are looking at the cute youngest members on both sides...
HYUNYEOP: He comes every night. JAEJUN: The youngest one accepts all of the older guys' pranks and treats them like friends, so it's really comfortable.
Q. Have you ever had a fight? All: No. JUNTAE: JAEJUN and I have been friends for 10 years, and HYUNYEOP for 4-5 years, but we have never had a fight.
Q. I think you had a lot of experiences in Osaka and Tokyo, including outside of the live performances. What were some memorable episodes, such as the atmosphere of the city, the food, or something that happened during your stay?
If you have any ideas, please let me know. HYUNYEOP: First of all, I personally like the atmosphere of Japan and I wanted to come to Japan. We have a monthly magazine called "Monthly MINUTE"
I've released a video of a famous city pop song in Japan, which I shot in Osaka. The atmosphere of the city really comes through in the video, and I'm personally very satisfied with the result.
The lyrics also include the Japanese phrase "like the first time," which shows the love the singer has for Japan.
JUNTAE: I don't usually eat much ramen, but when I came to Tokyo Station and when I came to Osaka,
I think it was on the first day, but I ate ramen, and in Tokyo my manager found a good ramen restaurant and we all went there.
I even thought, "If I come to Japan, I'll definitely eat ramen before I go home." Japanese food is really delicious. Q. Do you eat a lot when you come to Japan? JUNTAE &
HYUNYEOP: Yes, I eat it! JAEJUN: I think the bento and regular food are all very well made. Q. Is it different from Korean food?
HYUNYEOP: Yes, it's different. I think the texture and taste are a little different. I bought some mackerel at the supermarket the other day, and it was really delicious even though it was cooked.
Q. Is it sold in Korea too? JUNTAE: Yes, but it feels a little different. Oh, it's in Korea, right?
HYUNYEOP: Yes, there are. The kind you can heat up in the microwave. But the Japanese ones are really delicious too.
Q. What foods have your fans recommended to you? JUNTAE: There are a lot of foods that have been recommended to me by my fans.
JAEJUN: I also enjoy going to eat monjayaki on my way home after a release event.
HYUNYEOP: I ate oil noodles yesterday. Q. Did it suit your taste? HYUNYEOP: Yes, it did. It was great. Q. Are you going to be appearing on "In A" soon?
What genre of music or style would you like to try as "Minute"?
With "In A Minute," we want to do something different from other boy groups, and we want to incorporate a lot of band sounds.
For a band sound, you can use a variety of sound sources and instruments, so sometimes it sounds more acoustic, and sometimes it sounds more like an electric band.
I would like to create music by combining these various sounds, and if the opportunity arises, I would like to debut in Japan.
Q. The Tokyo release event is nearing the end, what are the thoughts you wanted to convey through the stage so far, and what will you say to your fans until the end?
HYUNYEOP: We've been holding release events on weekdays, so we're grateful that you've made time to come to the first and second parts of the event.
It's not easy, but we're really grateful for the feelings of those who came to see us. We tried our best in each performance to repay those feelings. We hope the remaining events will be good too.
I want to finish in a good way, and in the long run, I want to do more in Japan. JUNTAE: In Osaka and Tokyo, I want to introduce "In A" to new fans in Japan through release events.
I think that this release event in Tokyo and Osaka is just the beginning, and I hope that everyone will be able to see "In A Minute."
I want to work hard so that more people will know that there is a team called Minute. And someday, we will hold a concert.
Through this release event, "In A Minute" will be able to share their music and appeal with fans in Osaka and Tokyo.
