“ADOR元代表”ミン・ヒジン、新たな疑惑浮上
New allegations emerge about ADORformer CEO Min Hee Jin for forcing employees to get involved in politics
A court has ruled that former ADOR representative Min Hee Jin politically coerced employees into voting for the Democratic Party.
On the 27th, the Seoul Central District Civil Affairs Division 31 filed a lawsuit against HYBE by Min Former, CEO of the group, and two other members.
The hearings for the lawsuit to claim the purchase price of the stocks related to the exercise of the option and the lawsuit to confirm the termination of the shareholder contract filed by HYBE against Minformer, the company's representative, and two other individuals were held simultaneously.
HYBE has raised suspicions that CEO Minformer interfered with the political leanings of employees when he was HYBE's Chief Brand Officer (CBO).
As evidence, they presented a message from a staff member that had been posted on the community. The message, written around December 2020 before ADOR was established, read, "It seems suspicious, but Mr./Ms. (Min Hee-ji)
The suspect (presumably a spy) calls staff members to election campaigns and tells them not to vote for the Democratic Party. After the election, if any staff members say they voted for the Democratic Party, he calls them out and bullies them. At first, I thought it was a joke.
However, after being scolded for three hours, I wonder if I made the right decision to join the agency." HYBE's intention was to emphasize that CEO Minformer is unfit to be a CEO.
It is believed that this was the reason why he made this claim. HYBE also said that around the same time, CEO Minformer asked an employee, "Why did you choose the Democratic Party?" and said, "If there was no party to choose,
, you shouldn't vote. Like me. LOL LOL," was also used as evidence. Minformer's message was, "Why did you choose me when you don't even understand?" and "On top of that,
"It's a waste of time and effort to even line up in the midst of COVID," "Oh, really, young employees, you should know this, but you only know that voting is a right and don't study it..."
" In July of last year, HYBE CEO Min Former attempted to privatize the Korean girl group "New Jeans" and ADOR, causing damage to the agency and its affiliated labels.
The shareholders' agreement was terminated. Then, one month later in August, Minformer was also dismissed from his position as ADOR's representative.
In November of that year, she signed a 26 billion won (approximately 2.6 billion yen) foot-off deal with HYBE.
However, HYBE has stated that the exercise of the option is invalid because the shareholder agreement was terminated in July.
