Actor Baek Il-seop paid tribute to the late Lee Seung-jae. The two were close friends who appeared together on the tvN variety show "Grandpas Over Flowers."
Baek Il-seop, who appeared in the memorial documentary "Thank you to the late actor Lee Seung-jae," broadcast on MBC on the 28th, expressed his sorrow for the deceased.
He said, "Brother, if you can go there and act, cut it in half and think about your health. Nam Il-sama and Oh Hyun-kyung-sama are there too, so let's get together and
"Let's spend our time happily and leisurely while playing Go Stop (Hanafuda)," he said sincerely. "According to our promise at that time, I have to get to be your age too. I want to stay a little longer, but I don't know.
"Goodbye, brother," he said, shedding tears. The program also showed the late Lee Seung-jae lying in bed. The CEO of the management office asked, "What do you want to do when you get healthy?"
When asked, "What is your passion for acting?" he replied, "It's all about the work," making it clear that he had a passion for acting until the very end.
The late Lee Seung-jae, who passed away on the 25th at the age of 91, received a letter from the government.
The government posthumously awarded him the Order of Cultural Merit. He will be buried at Eden Paradise in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.
