Jang Keun Suk releases virtual photo of second child... ”I want to have children soon”

Actor and singer Jang Keun-suk has drawn attention by revealing his views on marriage and plans for children.

The episode of SBS's 'Diary of a Forty-Something Son' broadcast on the 30th of last month depicted Jang Keun-suk gathering with close friends Lee Hong-gi (FTISLAND) and Lee Seung-gi to discuss marriage.

According to ratings agency Nielsen Korea, that day's broadcast recorded an 8.6% metropolitan household rating, ranking first among all weekly variety programmes. Its 2049 demographic rating was 2%, placing it joint first among all Sunday variety programmes (tied with SBS's "Running Man"), with the highest minute-by-minute rating reaching 10.1%.

When asked, "Is the baby growing well?", Lee Seung-gi shared updates about his daughter, now 21 months old, revealing, "I'm very happy doing the nursery drop-offs and pick-ups with my wife." He added, "Of course, it's tough. There are far more difficult moments than those happy ones. But the impact of happiness is incomparably stronger."

Lee Seung-gi also stated, "I recommend marriage 100 per cent." When Hongki remarked, "Keun-suk hyung must want to get married too," Jang Keun-suk replied, "I've always wanted to marry early and have children early."

Jang Keun-suk explained his reasoning, stating, "I've enjoyed everything one can enjoy as a single person, but now I want a life shared with someone else," adding, "If I had a son who looked just like me, I feel my self-love would transfer to that child."

Alongside this, a photo of a hypothetical second-generation lookalike of Jang Keun-suk was revealed, drawing attention. Later, Lee Seung-gi showed his doting father side by sharing footage of his daughter dancing to his own song. Jang Keun-suk watched this and expressed great envy.
