The film tells the bizarre story of a boy and his ghost, Beetlejuice, who tries to drive out his wicked family. The play premiered on Broadway in New York in 2019 and was nominated for eight Tony Awards.
In 2021, the Korean version was performed as the world's first licensed production, and it met with audiences for the first time. Kim Jun Su (Xia), who joined the cast this season, said, "I originally wanted to do comedy.
"I have a strong desire to do things," he said, "The production I had just appeared in, 'Aladdin,' wasn't a complete comedy, but it had a lot of fun elements and I was happy to be on stage. From there, I felt like I wanted to try my hand at full-scale comedy."
" The main character, Beetlejuice, will be played by Kim Jun Su (Xia), Jung Sung Hwa, and Jung Won Young. The central character of the story, Lydia, will be played by Hong Na Hyun and Jang Min Jae.

The drama will be written by Lee Chang-ho, with Kim Soo-bin as the translator, and the comedy script by Lee Chang-ho. "Beetlejuice," which returns after four years, will be shown at the Gangseo Theater in Seoul from the 16th of this month to the 22nd of March next year.
