[Interview] Lee Junho (2PM) of ”Taepung Corporation” talks about his desire to become ”an actor people can trust and watch” and ”a singer people can trust and listen to”

Singer and actor Lee Junho (2PM) spoke about his feelings after finishing the TV series "Taepung Company" and the thoughts he put into the work.
In an interview commemorating the end of Lama's "Taepung Company," Lee Junho candidly shared his thoughts on concluding the series and his future plans.
The TV series "Taepung Trading Company" is about a man who becomes the president of a trading company with no employees, no funds, and no products to sell during the 1997 IMF crisis.
The story depicts the struggles and growth of Kang Tae-poong, a "rookie boss" who is in a difficult position. Lee Junho plays Kang Tae-poong, the CEO of Tae-poong Trading Co., Ltd., and leads the drama as the main character.
According to Nielsen Korea, the final episode, which aired on the 30th of last month, recorded an average of 10.3% nationwide and a peak of 11.4%.
This marks Lee Junho's third consecutive hit with "Red Sleeves," "King the Land," and "Taepoong Trading Co." He is truly a "hit maker."
This has solidified her position as a "three-hit wonder." When Lee Joo-un heard the words "three hits in a row," she smiled and said, "I want to keep hitting them for the rest of my life," and did not forget to thank the viewers.
Lee Junho said, "Whether a work becomes a hit is something I can't control on my own, but I'm also a human being, so I always hope for good results.
"The standard for what we want to achieve seems to be different for each production," he said, "In this production, we wanted to convey the mindset and spirit of Taepoong Trading.

When creating the character, I paid particular attention not only to his personality but also to his appearance.
"I researched a lot of the clothes that were popular at the time and came up with ideas. I really wanted to wear a leather coat, but I couldn't get hold of one, so I had it made. I used the styles of the time as a reference as much as possible," he said.
"Personally, I also took inspiration from the hairstyles of Lee Je Hoon senior from 'Cool' and Kim Min Jeong senior from the TV series," he revealed.
What came across throughout the interview was Lee Junho's sincere attitude towards his work.
He made his debut as an idol group called "pPM" and said he wanted to become a trusted figure both as a singer and an actor. "I want to be an actor you can trust and watch, and a singer you can trust and listen to.
