She learns that her family is planning to put her in a nursing home. Feeling uneasy, Mal-sun wanders the streets at night and is drawn to a dim light and enters the "Youth Photo Studio."
On the way home after applying floral makeup and taking photos in front of the deceased's funeral, she was shocked to see her own face reflected in the bus window. She had white skin like Audrey Hepburn, a slender body, and had transformed from a wrinkled old woman into a flower girl.
She's back in her body! Unable to recognize her younger self, she decides to become 20-year-old "Oh Du-ri" (Shim Eun Gyeung) and enjoy her golden years.
The Korean movie "Miss Granny" tells the story of a 74-year-old mean old woman who becomes a 20-year-old young woman.
The film will be directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, who caused a social stir with his work "The Guardian." The protagonists are Shim Eun Gyeung (20), a representative actress of the next generation, and Na Moon-hee (74), who is loved as the nation's mother.
The two talented actors, who played the roles of 0-year-old Oh Du-ri and the mean old woman Oh Mal-soon, achieved a two-person one role that transcended generations. The film was a hit, ranking first at the box office in 2014's Lunar New Year.
