In a remote seaside village, 14-year-old Do-hee (Kim Sae Ron) lives in a place with no way out. After her mother runs away, she lives with the scars of abuse from her stepfather Yeong-ha (Song Sae Byeok) and grandfather.
Bae Doo na, who has been demoted to the position of police chief of the village and is carrying another wound, appears before Dohee, who is still alive. Bae Doo na protects Dohee from the violence she receives from Yeongha and the other children in the village.
