No matter how unfortunate the situation is, Geum-soon (Han Hye-jin) overcomes it on her own and lives strong. She was abandoned by her mother when she was young and grew up in her grandmother's former home. Although she married at the age of 21, she lost her husband.
She becomes a widow and raises her child on her own. Such a strong Geum-soon is excited about the arrival of a new love, but the man she is dating, JaeHee (Kang Ji Hwan), takes Geum-sun's husband under medical supervision.
