Summary&Synopsis
4 o'clock in the afternoon (Korean: 오후 네시) is a movie. Its Korean release date is 2024-10-23. Its running time is 111 minutes.
Belgian novelist Amelie Nothon's novel "4:00 PM" has been made into a Korean movie! Jeong-in (Oh Dal Su), who believes that consideration for others is basic courtesy, retires from his professorship and marries his wife.
Together with Hyun-sook (Jang Young-nam), he creates a new place to relax in a quiet town and dreams of a happy retirement. After moving into his new home, he goes to say hello to Yuk-nam, a doctor who lives across the street.
The couple, who visited, missed each other many times and were unable to meet Yuk-nam. They left only a note and went home. The next day at 4pm, Yuk-nam came to Jeong-in's house and the couple had an awkward moment.
Jeong-in and his wife think that his visit is simply a mandatory response to the note and that it is just a happening. However, every day after that, at 4 p.m., Yuk-nam comes to Jeong-in's house.
When Jeong-in tries to converse with him, Yuk-nam only responds with "Yes, that's right" or "No," and the atmosphere becomes even more tense.
Yuk-nam's visit at exactly 4pm gradually takes over Jeong-in and Hyun-sook's peaceful day.
However, as time passes, Jeong-in begins to feel psychological pressure due to his visits and overbearing attitude... The Korean movie "4 PM" is based on the novel "4 PM".
