In 1996, 26 North Korean armed communist soldiers invaded South Korea, of which 25, except for one, were captured alive or wiped out by South Korean military operations.
However, only one South Korean operative survives and escapes. A North Korean HID operative known as "Ghost" is sent in to capture him alive. The price of a covert operation that leaves no trace of its past...
Known as the "Ghost of the North," he begins to pursue the last remaining armed communist forces. Ironically, the South Korean "ghosts" are armed with AK-47 rifles, a symbol of communism, while the North Korean armed communist forces are armed with M16 rifles, a symbol of capitalism.
The two men's fierce pursuit leads to a tense fight to the death with each holding the other's gun... The Korean film "Invisible" depicts the life-risking battle between special agents from the North and South.
The South Korean agent is played by actor Hong Sang-jin. The North Korean HID agent "Ghost" is played by actor Yoon Jung-yeol. Kim Mi-soo is played by actress Lee Eun-ji.
Actor Won Jong-cheol plays Shim Man-i, and actor Jang Yong-jin plays the head of the Military Intelligence Agency.
