During the turbulent times of the late Goryeo Dynasty, Won Kyung chose the man she loved. After the founding of the Joseon Dynasty, her husband became king and struggled to stabilize the political situation.
However, she endures everything without losing her dignity and responsibility as a queen, and tries to fulfill her responsibility to the end for the love she has chosen.
Who is Won Kyung, the independent woman who never failed in life? The Korean TV series "Former Won Kyung" (12 episodes) is about a young woman who dreams of a new world and is married to her husband, King Taejong, Lee Bang-won.
