Song of the Sun (Korean: 태양의 노래) is a movie. It is a remake of the movie Taiyou no Uta, which starred singer-songwriter YUI and Takashi Tsukamoto.
Misol, who suffers from a genetic disease called "Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP)" and cannot be exposed to sunlight, falls in love with a young man who sells fruit from a food truck that she can see from her room.
When Misol saw a food truck that usually only comes during the day selling at night, she couldn't help but run out. From that day on, Misol became a regular customer and got very close to him.
His name is Kim Min Jun. He is a young man who dreams of becoming an actor and wants to live his life doing what he loves. When Misol performs a song for MINJOOn, MINJOOn praises her highly and Misol sings along with him.
She is encouraged to stream the video on social media, but she is hesitant because she is worried that attention will be focused on her illness and not her singing... So she uploads only the song without showing her face, and it becomes a huge hit!
