His mother, Hee-soo (Noh Hyun-hee), uses all sorts of violence and threats on her son Jae-seong (Song Seung-hyun), who is ranked number one in the school, telling him that he must become number one in the nation.
To become the best in the Republic of Korea. That is the only reason to live, Hee-soo shouts. But for three days, Hee-soo inflicts severe abuse and violence on her son Jae-seong. Eventually, it all ends.
Jae-seong, who had killed his mother, Hee-soo, sealed his mother away in the back room, has lived a hellish life ever since.
However, a burglar breaks into the apartment on the fourth floor where the dead mother was sealed away.
N-jae breaks into the sealed room and finds Hee-soo, who he thought was dead. At first, he thinks it's the body, but when he sees Hee-soo awake, he becomes frightened as if he's seen a ghost, and runs to the fourth floor of the apartment.
Min-jae jumps off the cliff, but Min-jae visits the room again. Hee-soo, who is trying to continue with her suicide attempt, is saved by Min-jae and barely manages to live again.
