Summary&Synopsis
Sea Tiger (Korean: 바다 호랑이) is a movie. Its Korean release date is 2025-06-25. Its running time is 106 minutes.
A film based on the true story of a diver who was involved in rescue efforts at the scene of the Sewol ferry disaster, made to commemorate the 11th anniversary of the disaster.
In the spring of 2014, the Sewol ferry sank. Kyung-soo (Lee Ji Hoon), a private diver who risked his life at the scene of the accident to bring the victims back to their families, suffered from painful decompression sickness and psychological trauma.
Kyung-soo's heart is further devastated when he appears as a witness in a trial in which the Coast Guard is charging Chang-dae, a representative of the civilian divers, with negligence resulting in the death of a fellow diver who died in an accident at the scene.
However, this is a trial that they must win in order to prove their innocence against the ruthless nation that used them and discarded them, and to regain their trampled dignity!
Although Kyung-soo doesn't want to remember the past, he confesses the pain he experienced while wandering alone through the labyrinthine hell on the huge ship. "Seal"
Kyung-soo, nicknamed "Kyung-soo," was also unable to enter the sea any more. He was unilaterally driven away from the rescue site by the Coast Guard and was unable to find the 11 missing people.
Will Kyung-soo be able to get through the trial safely and return to the family he dreamed of?
