Currently, there are only about 60 forensic scientists working in South Korea. In particular, the number of forensic scientist applicants from doctors is only 2 to 3 per year.
The money donated by RM will be used for the Korean Society of Forensic Medicine's human resources training, academic research, and projects to improve the forensic medicine system.
The Korean Forensic Society plans to present RM with a thank you cup and grant him the status of honorary member of the Korean Forensic Society.
