Lee HONG-KI of the group FTISLAND has been cast in the musical "Your Lie in April" (Korean version).
"Your Lie in April" starring Lee Hong-ki is a drama based on the manga by Japanese manga artist Naoshi Arakawa.
This musical rebirth of the work tells the coming-of-age story of young people aspiring to be musicians, experiencing encounters and partings with important people and helping their talents blossom.
A boy who is a genius pianist and has stopped playing the piano since his mother's death meets a girl who is a genius violinist, and the two begin to bond through music.
The story depicts a changing world. Lee HONG-KI plays the role of Arima Kousei in "Your Lie in April". Arima Kousei was a genius pianist, but after his mother's death, he was traumatized and stopped playing the piano.
He is a character who can no longer play, but meets Miyazono Kaori and falls back into the world of music. In particular, Lee Hong-ki expresses a strong sensibility in the released poster alone, showing the youthful side of him.
Lee Hong-ki, who has previously created a credible and entertaining stage with his explosive singing ability and excellent acting skills in various musical productions, will once again show his presence in "Your Lie in April".
"Your Lie" starring Lee Hong-ki will be performed at the Seoul Arts Center CJ Towol Theater from June 27th to August 25th.
