Jennie of the girl group "BLACKPINK" has donated 100 million won. Habitat Korea, an international housing welfare non-profit organization, has announced that Jennie of "BLACKPINK" has donated 100 million won to the charity.
On May 16th, the group announced that they had donated 100 million won in the name of their fan club "BLINK." The donation will go to the Habitat Korea project in Gyeonggi-do, Anseong-do, and other areas.
The funds will be used to build the Rodemnam International Alternative School in the city of Gyeonggi. The Rodemnam International Alternative School is a school where Korean youth who have settled in Korea can balance their lives and studies.
It serves as a base. The residential environment is not suitable for group living, and the school building needs to be constructed as soon as possible because it has not been officially approved as a school.
Habitat Korea expressed their gratitude to JENNIE for joining in building a school to nurture the dreams of children with her love for her fans.
He said he would work hard to get construction started as soon as possible.
